Carlsbad Issues 15 K Evacuation Notifications; Two Structures Lost

The City of Carlsbad has issued about 15,000 evacuation notifications.

Evacuation boundaries are west of El Fuerte Road, south of Palomar Airport Road, north of Aviara Parkway and west to the coast. A temporary evacuation point is currently set up at Plaza El Camino Real southwest parking lot.

Information on school evacuations is available at www.carlsbadusd.k12.ca.us

They are also reporting two structures have been lost.
