Extreme Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories today through Tuesday night in deserts, valleys, and mountains. Stay inside or shaded areas. Drink lots of water.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning for San Diego County deserts today through Tuesday at 8 pm and for San Diego County valleys Monday, 8/28, at 10 am until Tuesday at 8 pm. A Heat Advisory will be in effect for San Diego County mountains from Monday, 8/28, at 10 am until Tuesday at 8 pm. Temperatures will reach 110 to 117 degrees in the deserts, 95 to 107 in the valleys, and 90 to 100 in the mountains.

  • Stay inside or shaded areas. Drink lots of water.
  • If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1.
  • Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles.
