Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory Issued Today for San Diego County Coasts, Valleys, Mountains, and Deserts

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for temperatures over 100 degrees in the San Diego County Coasts and Valleys beginning at 3:10 a.m. today and a Heat Warning for the Desert region starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. A Heat Advisory is issued for the San Diego County Coasts, Valleys, and Mountains for temperatures in the 90s beginning at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

  • Stay inside or under shaded areas.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1.
  • Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles.
