  • Provides information related to rebuilding homes like zoning, engineering and building requirements, and any permits needed to rebuild or change property layout.

Health and Human Services

Self-Sufficiency Program Home Page provides information on food assistance, medical assistance, housing assistance, and other County services.

The Access Customer Service Call Center helps people in San Diego County with questions about Family Resource Center (FRC) programs and services. The agents are trained workers who know about CalWORKs, CalFresh, and Medi-Cal.

Environmental Health and Quality

Provides information and resources for needed permits and repairs if there is damage to mobile home parks, water wells, pools, or septic systems.

Community Based Organizations

 

American Red Cross

Provides immediate financial assistance for qualifying residents along with follow-up disaster casework and the disaster recovery guide. The disaster casework includes helping families create a recovery plan and referrals to other community resources to meet any identified needs. We can assist with replacing any medications or medical equipment families have lost in the fire. We have crisis counselors available from our mental health and spiritual care teams.

Salvation Army

Provides emotional and spiritual care, financial assistance that can be used at Salvation Army local family stores, clothing assistance, some diapers, beverages, and referrals to local Salvation Army pantries.

Provide cleaning products (includes smoke remediation), N95 masks, Tyvek suits, Hygiene Kits, wildfire kits (includes shovel and rake), and tarping of roofs.
