Terrorism

If You See Something, Say Something

A key element in our nation's effort to protect ourselves against crime and terrorism is the concept that homeland security begins with hometown security. An alert public plays a critical role in keeping our nation safe.

In San Diego and Imperial County, the San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center (SDLECC) serves as the regional intelligence fusion center. Fusion Centers are focal points for the receipt, analysis, gathering, and sharing of threat-related information between the federal government and state, local, tribal, and private sector partners.

If you encounter suspicious activity that may be linked to terrorism, report it immediately by contacting your local law enforcement agency or by using the link below. All information is provided to, and evaluated by, the FBI and you may remain anonymous.

When determining whether activity is suspicious, please remember to focus on the actual behavior. Factors such as race, ethnicity, national origin, or religious affiliation alone are not suspicious. The SDLECC is committed to ensuring that the privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties of our citizens are preserved.
