Status of Cocos Fire in San Marcos
CAL FIRE reports that the Cocos Fire in San Marcos is currently at 700 acres with 0% containment. There are three confirmed structures destroyed, not five as earlier reported, and one damaged. Fire is still very active and continues to move to the south.
Residents are urged to call 2-1-1 for all non-emergency calls and visit www.sdcountyemergency.com for updates online.
