New Shelter Opening

The City of Carlsbad has opened an evacuation shelter at La Costa Canyon High School, 1 Maverick Way in Carlsbad. The American Red Cross is running the shelter. Please note that La Costa Canyon High School cannot accept pets. Until  another shelter opens, residents with pets are asked to go to the southwest parking lot at Westfield Plaza El Camino Real, 2525 El Camino Real.

If you need emergency assistance in evacuation, call 9-1-1.

Residents are urged to call 2-1-1 for all non-emergency calls and visit www.sdcountyemergency.com for updates online.
