Lake Fire
UPDATE (6:30 PM): The San Diego County Sheriff's Department has lifted the evacuation order. Residents may return to their homes.
Cal Fire and the Escondido Fire Department are responding to a vegetation fire in the area of Via Loma Vista and Purer Rd near Lake Hodges. Residents in the area are being temporarily evacuated to the North County Fair Mall. Cal Fire has reported making good progress on the 10 acre fire.
