Dehesa 7 Fire near Dehesa, Evacuation Warnings and Orders Issued

San Diego County Fire is at the scene of a vegetation fire near Dehesa Road and Red Gum Road in the community of Dehesa. San Diego County Fire reports the fire is currently at 15 acres and is threatening structures. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Evacuation Warnings and Orders for nearby areas.

The following roads remain closed to all vehicle traffic except emergency personnel:

  • Dehesa Road at Wilson Road
  • Dehesa Road at Tavern Road
  • Harbison Canyon Road at Frances Drive 

Temporary Evacuation Point is located at the East Side Lot of Viejas Casino, 5000 Willows Rd, Alpine, CA 91901.

An Evacuation Warning means there is a potential threat to life and/or property.

  • You may be in danger soon.
  • Leave now if you need extra time, or do not feel safe.
  • Call your emergency contacts now if you need help.
  • Contact your neighbors and share information.
  •  Vulnerable populations such as people with disabilities, people with access or functional needs, and/or large animals should leave now.

An Evacuation Order requires immediate movement out of the affected area due to an imminent threat to life.
