Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory Issued Today for San Diego County Mountains, Valleys, and Coastal Areas

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for temperatures near 100 degrees in the San Diego County Mountains and Valleys, and a Heat Advisory for the San Diego County Coastal Areas for temperatures near 90 degrees. Both are beginning at 10:00 a.m. today.

  • Stay inside or under shaded areas.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1.
  • Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles.
