Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory Issued Today for San Diego County Deserts and Mountains
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for temperatures over 115 degrees in the San Diego County Deserts, and a Heat Advisory for the San Diego Mountains for temperatures in the 90s. Both are beginning at 10:00 a.m. today.
• Stay inside or under shaded areas.
• Drink lots of water.
• If you feel sick from the heat, call 9-1-1.
• Never leave young children or pets alone in vehicles.
