High Wind Warning for San Diego County Mountains as of 3/2/24 6:00 a.m. to 3/3/24 12:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a High Wind Warning for San Diego County Mountains until 3/3/24.

  • Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines.
  • Widespread power outages are possible.
  • Strongest winds will be on the desert slopes of the mountains.
  • Static wind speeds are forecast to be around 35 - 45 mph with isolated gusts up to 90 mph.
  • Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use caution if you must drive.
